Light flashes across GOTT: and Jesus, as you enter the ethereal portraiture space. Techniques involving the use of broken and bent mirror pieces, along with thickened gesso on a chalkboard structure, engage the kinetic "aliveness," of each unique and newly ethnic face which challenges the conventional portraiture of this subject and even introduces a holy interactivity similar to the presence of a fire and brimstone preacher. Hypnotic sound waves become activated as a result of your movement and focus.

Human considerations become elevated as each piece challenges you to see yourself in Jesus. Each piece creates an individual hypnotic tension between the present and omnipotence. Once the viewers' movement and position are detected by the bent and broken mirror pieces, the facial features transform into a dynamic painting. With the movement of multiple people, different, and appropriate, kinetic interactivity is created. The results are interpersonal gestures that are never static and evolve into infinity. To realize it's full potential as a highly kinetic painting, create an intricate dance between yourself and Jesus. Just as in life, be prepared for the unique response, or lack thereof. The images of Jesus vibrate on their own and even more so with the viewer's interaction. These ambitious chalkboards become nearly sculptural especially as a result of the swirls of large streams of thick gesso and paint mixtures creating dimension and texture. GOTT's chosen structure for her pieces as a playful chalkboard is symbolic of a teaching environment. Generously multi-layered into apparition-type abstractions referencing a number of spiritual themes - GOTT: and Jesus is haunting in the God-fearing tradition.
